The Goal: Celebrate You Events Website

Rachel came to us knowing she wanted a website for her growing business. It was the missing piece to her professional running business. She wanted a website to showcase previous events, emphasize her services, and have easy booking contact forms for clients and vendors. Rachel wanted a hands-on approach in which she can learn all the steps to building her own website. As a small business owner, she really wanted to learn it all, and at the same time, realized that it would be time-consuming to do it on her own.

The Solution: Tutoring and Guiding Approach

We took a tutoring and guiding approach in which we met online for a few consecutive weeks. Each week we took the project a few steps forward with lots of homework in between. It came to us as no surprise that Rachel was an A+ student, super determined to get her website up and running. Prior to starting the project, Rachel coordinated a brand photoshoot for herself. Additionally, her brand colors, logo, and overall look and feel were all set, making the vision for her website very clear.

“I’m so happy to have found My Two Cents On Business when I did. I knew I needed to create a website to round out my digital presence, but it was too daunting a task to do it myself. I really wanted to learn the process as well but didn’t have the time to self-teach.

Libby understood what I was after and held my hand through the whole process. She was organized and clear. She kept me on task and offered solutions when I couldn’t figure things out on my own. I would definitely recommend Libby to help ensure your digital footprint is intact.”

Summary

CelebrateYouEvents.Com is the perfect example of a website project that was done through tutoring and guiding. In the blog “How To Create My Own Website?”, there is a list of the steps we took together to complete the project. Our two cents on every project are to keep things simple and functional. Our aim is to keep the number of plugins down to a minimum and to build websites that are easily managed by our clients.
